Our mission is to help hospitals improve their quality and financial performance, so that they may become more profitable and more competitive in an increasingly consumer-driven marketplace. We do this (primarily) by means of a comprehensive intervention that involves virtually all aspects of patient care and several key areas of hospital operations, in an intensive and highly interactive partnership centered around our unique “Hospital Transformation Intervention™” for quality, service, and performance improvement.

Our consulting team has applied this model successfully in many hospitals large and small, urban and rural, both within medical centers and free-standing. The model works because it’s based on three fundamental ‘truisms’ of hospital operations today, namely:

1 That most hospitals, even when they know they’re ailing, don’t always know why, or simply don’t have the staff resources or (sometimes) the operations-management expertise. 2 That, in order to meet the increasing regulatory demands and public scrutiny that all hospitals are facing today, most hospitals can no longer afford piece-meal or incremental solutions, but rather need to embrace comprehensive, transformational change at a cultural level. 3 That any such transformative change must leave in place an indigenous mechanism for continuous improvement that relies only minimally on outside consulting resources and can be sustained internally with only an occasional small FTE investment.
